A mobile phone that runs on coca cola

Haven’t we all forgotten to charge our mobile phone once? This can be a very annoying problem, especially for us MTB-students. Since we have a lot of group meetings, we need to be available at all times. During these meetings, we also tend to neglect our health: we just don’t have the time to eat healthy food. Most of the time it’s pizza or French fries with a soda. Today, there is a solution for both of these problems! Daizi Zheng, a Chinese developer who is currently based in London, has modified a Nokia cell phone to run on Coca-Cola or any other soda. Yes, that’s right. It may sound incredible, but it seems this mobile phone really works. Isn’t this great? Now, we can have a group meeting and charge our mobile while doing so. You just go to the nearest vending machine, buy a soda and you’ll no longer have to worry about the battery of your mobile phone running low. Moreover, this is a great way to contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment. You no longer need electricity to charge your mobile and it doesn’t pollute because the end product of the process is water and oxygen. And to top it all off, Daizi assures us that the battery is completely biodegradable. In my opinion, this is a great way for us to be more environmentally conscious. And we don’t even have to do a big effort!
