I imagine all MTB students have got many discarded wine and beer glass bottles piled up in their apartment. So what about recycling them, and building a beautiful gate, a chandelier, a table, or a Christmas tree?
On the one hand, it’s a really ecological solution because you’re recycling unused stuff, on the other hand it gives a classy touch to your furniture, or house.
You only need to collect discarded bottles. Different colours give an even better look to your new furniture!
You can create art yourselves, it’s easy and affordable!
So if you’d like to make your own candle holder, here’s the recipe:
“Cut wine bottles in half and use the tops for tapered candle holders. Make sure to sand any sharp or rough edges. Put them face down on a clear glass plate as a base. Use the bottoms to hold medium-size pillar candles. Hand-paint or stencil art work on the glass. Make the design small, simple and eloquent using one contrasting colour against the glass. Create them in pairs for your home or use them as gifts.”
