Imagine eartships

Imagine earthships …

Soon we are going to leave the parental nest and we would like to have our own house. However in these times of crisis and environmental changes, generally we haven’t enough money to build or buy a house, and we have to take the ecological questions in account.
Nevertheless since the early seventies, the earthship, an excellent type of sustainable building was designed by an American architect Michael Reynolds. This “arc of Noah” exists in harmony with its environment and is primarily made of tires and other types of discarded materials, as you can see on the photo.

Living in an earthship made of recycled materials, without using fossil fuels, catching water from the sky, providing our own electricity with a wind power system etcetera means taking the responsibility for what happens beyond the reach of our fingertips.
To sum up, building an earthship is cost effective, inexpensive, ecological and future proof!
